This is a statically linked binary for GRUB v0.97, compiled by me today
on RHEL6.

I used it for reinstalling GRUB in an HD while booted from a recovery CD
that didn't had it installed (and whose glibc was sufficiently different
from the one installed in the HD linux partition so as to make it impractical
to mount that partition and run it from there, even with chroot - because 
/dev wasn't mounted and could not be mounted inside the chroot because
the recovery CD kernel did not offer devtmpfs -- not even as a module).
